Abstract: This research conducts a comparative analysis of vocational education systems globally, focusing on institutional structures, curriculum designs, and outcomes across different countries. Vocational education systems vary significantly worldwide, shaped by cultural, economic, and educational contexts, yet comparative studies offer valuable insights into effective practices and policy implications. The study aims to (1) compare institutional frameworks and governance structures of vocational education systems, (2) analyze curriculum approaches and industry partnerships influencing skill development and employability, and (3) identify lessons and recommendations for enhancing vocational education in Nigeria. A survey research design is employed to gather perspectives from education policymakers, researchers, and practitioners. A sample size of 400 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent vocational education experts and stakeholders globally. Comparative case studies will explore successful models from countries such as Germany, Singapore, and the United States. Findings revealed diverse approaches to vocational education governance, curriculum integration, and industry engagement, highlighting strengths and challenges across different systems. Recommendations include adapting best practices to local contexts, fostering international collaborations for knowledge exchange, and aligning policies to support vocational education as a pathway to economic development and social mobility in Nigeria.
